Sheers series #7: Waterfall

From over the edge
cascading, plummeting down
pooling crystal clear

This is #7 in my ongoing series of work entirely in sheers. The background is a watercolor print sheer. The waterfall is distressed (using a needle) organza with pieces of cellophane behind it to create the 'rainbow' effect. Micro glitter adds the sparkle of the water spray.
It measures 11"x15"

Thanks for another good challenge Kathy

This is truly beautiful! And what a series! Gorgeous. I hope you have a plan to show these somewhere when you have completed the series.... looking forward to the next one.... next week?

This has such an ethereal feel just like a good waterfall should.

What a great piece. I can feel the mist and hear the roar. Your technique is very interesting and very realistic.

Thanks all for your comments. I am having a great time playing with all my sheers, I'm running out of windows to hang them in, LOL
