March bodes fickle days
hope ferns porches trees weeds green
Maybe maybe not
This is paint on watercolor paper, torn, sewn fabric, painted, stamped deli paper collaged, more paint...

Terrific Linda! You've certainly captured the fickle March/sunshine of your wonderful haiku. I would love to know more about the techniques you used...nice work Cherie
Linda this is so up my alley so to speak.. in what I am wanting to do in this group. And you used deli paper!! I have had deli paper waiting to be used for other than quilting designs, I just have to figure it out...I have been back to this piece several times and will be . Great that you got this done! And it certainly depicts your Haiku!

Stamped deli paper?
I wonder if this is what we refer to in Australia as "butcher's paper" ?
You also have given me ideas for future use.
What a great combination of items and techniques. Your haiku certainly has March pegged!
All your techniques came together very nicely.
Linda, your piece has an Oriental feel to me. I really like it
