(Beginnings) Fire-storm
Fire-storm
Summer fire storms
Land lies scorched and blackened.
Rains revitalize.
Terrific depiction of raging fire. The burning embers look as if they would burn me if I touched them. Sadly, fires all to often are followed by torrential rains (speaking from experience, living in So. California). Cherie
This is so descriptive! Great use of color - what are your techniques here? I like the look of your brown background, but am not sure what it is. Though the haiku starts in a negative tone, and the artwork shows devastation, your 3rd line is optimistic and helps the reader/viewer to see beyond the immediate experience. Nice work.
