"Journey"  -  fiber art / haiku - August 30, 2011

    My haiku fiber art piece for August was about a journey.   I did a photo transfer onto treated fabric of a digital photo that I took while taking off from LAX this past month.  It is machine quilted.
My haiku for the fiber piece is;

Where am I going?...
My journey to happiness...
I'm above the clouds...

detours? distractions?
unplanned stops, uneven road
part of the journey

We are the sum of all that has happened to us - positive and negative. It is all part of our journey through life.

Journey of one thousand miles.
I can't find my shoes.

This is a small watercolor with pen and ink. I used a few patterns from Zentagles to do the border and background.
